*** Tomato Chicken Tortilla Soup

Ingredients


3 Cloves Garlic, minced
1 onion, chopped
2 T butter
3 T flour

6 C. Milk
4 1/2 cup Chicken broth
1 can creamed corn
2 tsp. ground cumin
1 pkg. fajita seasoning
1 T. Fresh Cilantro
1 can HERDEZ salsa
15 oz. tomato sauce
12 oz. tomato paste

5 chicken breast or 3 cans of chicken

TOPPINGS

Sour cream
avacado
Limes
CIlantro
Montery Jack Cheese
Tortilla strips

Directions

Saute'
Garlic, onion, butter, flour for 5 minutes

then add:
everything else EXCEPT chicken

Bring to boil and then Simmer for 60 minutes.

Add chicken and simmer for another 20 minutes.

Top Soup with:( I usually put all these in bowls and allow the quest to choose their toppings)
Sour cream
avacado
Limes
CIlantro
Montery Jack Cheese
Tortilla strips
